Police search for 2 who held father, toddler at gunpoint during robbery

2 men robbed Dollar General on South Pine Avenue

OCALA, Fla. – Marion County Sheriff's Office investigators are searching for two men who they said held a father and his toddler at gunpoint while they robbed a store.

In surveillance video taken from the Dollar General on South Pine Ave., you can see the two masked men storm into the store.

One of them holds the father and his little girl at gunpoint, forcing them down onto the ground, while the other man orders cashiers to empty their cash drawers.

The two men finally leave, allowing the frightened father and child to get up.

Investigators said the fact they were wearing masks makes it harder to figure out who they are.

They want people to take a look at their clothing.

They're asking anyone who recognizes these white baggy shirts or black jeans to contact them immediately at (352) 732-9111.
