Cops: Burglars steal guns, steaks, 'Harry Potter' collection

Extension cords, soda among list of stolen items, deputies say


DELTONA, Fla. – Volusia County Sheriff’s Office responded to a burglary call late Sunday night involving a long list of unusual stolen items.

Kimberly Offutt and her boyfriend, “Mikey” Stites, broke into the victim’s home stealing several guns and rounds of ammunition, multiple bottles of liquor, cans of soda, steaks from the freezer, extension cords, "Harry Potter" and "Fast and Furious" DVD collections and many other items, according to the incident report.

Deputies said they found the couple in a minivan at Kangaroo Express on Tuesday evening. Inside the minivan were several of the items that the victim had reported stolen.

The property was photographed and later released to the victim, according to the report.

Deputies later arrested the couple. They face grand theft, dealing in stolen property and burglary charges.
