Feathery friends safely waddled across the street

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – On her way to work this morning, News 6 employee Stephanie Strong witnessed an act of kindness from an Altamonte Springs police officer and some feathery friends.

The officer flashed his lights of his police motorcycle at the intersection of SR 434 and 436 to stop traffic.

As cars slowed to a stop, they saw he did so to escort a mother and her ducklings safely across multiple lanes of traffic.

The ducklings made it safely across the street, all thanks to the officer's kind deed.
