SANFORD, Fla. – Police said a Sanford man arranged to pay a woman $100 for sex, but that rendezvous turned into a kidnapping that cost him a lot more.
Court documents show the victim, Paul Zarda, took the suspect, Chriskesha Pierce, 20, to a home in a gated Sanford community to have sex, but that never happened. Instead, Zarda was allegedly robbed and kidnapped by the woman with the help of her friends.
The group beat Zarda, tied him up and then forced him to into his own car before taking him to a Citgo across town, where they demanded he withdraw more than $900 from his account. After that, the group abandoned Zarda with his car in a random neighborhood.
Zarda said when he got home, he realized they had stolen thousands of dollars worth of valuables, including laptops, jewelry and two vehicles.
Police were able to track down and arrest Pierce. She's now facing several felony charges. She remains jailed in the Seminole County Jail.
Pierce's alleged accomplices were not identified in the court documents. It's unclear if any of them have been arrested.
