Man killed in Orange County identified, deputies say

Richard Trinidad, 35, died at hospital after suffering life-threatening wound

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – The Orange County Sheriff's Office is investigating a death that happened near the University of Central Florida Friday evening.

Deputies said Richard Trinidad, 35, was found with a life-threatening wound by deputies just after 9:30 p.m. Friday on Cherry Oak Circle in the Sun Crest subdivision.

Trinidad was taken by Orange County Fire Rescue to Florida Hospital East, where he later died, deputies said.

Deputies said a female suspect was at the scene and was detained as the investigation continues.
