VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – With record-breaking heat, many Central Floridians headed to the beach to try and cool off, and the increase in visitors kept rescuers busy.
Beach officials said 170 people were treated for jellyfish stings in Volusia County on Sunday.

Three people were also rescued from the water, officials said. No serious injuries were reported.
