Man arrested in Deltona SunTrust Bank robbery

Deputies arrest Nicholas Landolfi, 36, 2 hours after robbery

DELTONA, Fla. – The Volusia County Sheriff's Office arrested a man they said robbed a SunTrust Bank Monday afternoon in Deltona.

Deputies said Nicholas Landolfi, 36, walked into the bank at 892 Deltona Blvd. armed with a gun and got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

Officials were able to identify Landolfi and arrest him within two hours of the bank robbery with the help of citizens' tips.

Landolfi is charged with armed robbery, grand theft and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He is being held at the Volusia County Branch Jail on a bond of $205,000.
