Daytona Beach police try to ID woman found wandering in hospital

Woman appears to be in good health

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Daytona Beach police are trying to identify a woman who was found at a Daytona Beach hospital.

Police said officers were called to Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center around 3 p.m. Thursday after staff members located a woman in the lobby who appeared to be lost.

Officers described the woman as African-American and in her late 20s or early 30s. She's about 4 feet tall and may answer to the name Jennifer, police said. The woman appears to have several disabilities and is unable to communicate her name or where she resides, according to police. 

The woman is in good physical health, but officers said they are attempting to reunite her with her family.
