ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Troopers are investigating after a 35-year-old man was found dead on the side of a road Friday evening.
The Florida Highway Patrol on Monday identified the man as Christopher Harvey, of Orlando.

Harvey's body was found after 6 p.m. along the south shoulder of the eastbound lanes of Colonial Drive near Shepard Road, troopers said.
Harvey was found face down in a ditch. Troopers said he appeared to have been dead for an extended period of time. Harvey had last been seen Wednesday in the area where his body was found, troopers said.
troopers are investigating the man's death as a hit-and-run. Troopers did not have information about the vehicle involved, its direction of travel or where the man was walking.
