Ormond Beach police are looking into a suspicious incident that occurred Friday afternoon when three students were dropped off at their bus stop.

The students told officers that they observed an older black truck recklessly driving toward them at a high rate of speed in the Live Oak and South Ridgewood Avenue area.

The driver slowed down and stared at them as he drove past with his window down.

He then made a U-turn into a driveway.

The driver did this for a second time.

The driver then drove around the block a third time, but the students ran into a resident's yard for safety.

The driver drove away for the third time, but did not return.

The driver is described as a white man in his 40s with very short hair and facial stubble.

The vehicle is described a black pickup truck with no hood that may have been spray painted with oversized tires and loud exhaust.

Ormond Beach police are encouraging anyone with any information to call them at (386) 248-1774 or (386) 677-0731.
