Man arrested in road-rage incident with Uber driver

Man charged with 3 counts of aggravated assault after pulling gun on driver

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – A man was arrested on aggravated assault charges in a road-rage incident with an Uber driver on Monday afternoon.

Deputies arrested Obed Herrera and charged him with three counts of aggravated assault and use/display of a firearm in the incident at Lakeshore Drive just before 6 p.m.

Deputies said the victim, an Uber driver, was driving eastbound on Lakeshore Drive from Fortune Road when a silver Honda that had been driving erratically behind him pulled pointed a gun at him at a stoplight.

The victim slowed down to let the driver pass him and got part of his license plate number, according to deputies.

Based on the license plate information, deputies were able to identify the suspect as Herrera. 

He was booked into the Osceola County Jail.
