Duo sought in armed robbery of Orlando store, cops say

Robbers hold Cricket Wireless employees, customer at gunpoint, police say

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando police are asking for the public's help in identifying two people involved in an armed robbery Saturday.

Police went to Cricket Wireless at 226 North Orange Blossom Trail at 3:30 p.m. after a call about an armed robbery.

Police said two people entered the store and robbed two employees and a customer at gunpoint.

The robbers removed cash from the cash register and cellphones from the back of the store. Police said they also robbed the customer of his wallet, and took the employees' cellphones and a purse.

The duo left the store on foot. Police said no one was hurt in the incident.

One robber, who was armed with a semi-automatic handgun, is described as having a dark complexion, is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds. Police said he wore a black short-sleeved T-shirt with a gray long-sleeved tee underneath, black pants, black shoes, a camouflage green baseball cap.

The other robber is described by police as having a dark complexion is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds. He wore a black jumpsuit inside-out, a long-sleeved T-shirt underneath, a backpack, black shoes and a black beanie hat with gray stripes.
