Democratic powerhouses to make stops in Florida in week before Election Day

ORLANDO, Fla. – A Miami performance by singer Jennifer Lopez on Saturday will kick off visits by political powerhouses making stops in the battleground state of Florida a week before Election Day.

Lopez will perform at Bayfront Park Amphitheater in Miami for a “Get Out the Vote” event for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. The former secretary of state will join Lopez at the concert.

Tickets to the free concert are available at HillaryClinton.com/JLO and can be picked up on Saturday at Bayfront Park.

Clinton will be back in Central Florida on Saturday at the John H. Dickerson Community Center, Ralph Robinson Gymnasium on South Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Daytona Beach. The event is scheduled to start at 4:15 p.m., doors open at 2:15 p.m.

President Barack Obama was in Orlando on Friday at the University of Central Florida campaigning for Clinton and will return to the Sunshine State on Nov. 3.

Obama will again urge Floridians to take advantage of early voting and show is support for Clinton at events in South Florida and in Jacksonville, according to Clinton’s campaign staff.

Vice President Joe Biden is scheduled to speak Wednesday in Tampa and West Palm Beach.

Some campaign event locations have not yet been announced.
