Family settles lawsuit in mall ropes-course accident
Robert Belvoir died Christmas Eve 2014
ORLANDO, Fla. – The family of a man killed after falling off an attraction at the Artegon Marketplace has settled its lawsuit.
Penelope Belvoir sued the mall and Sky Trail Attraction after her father, Robert, fell 30 feet from the ropes course attraction and died Christmas Eve 2014.
Belvoir's attorney filed a wrongful death lawsuit shortly after the incident, saying it could have been prevented.
Details of the settlement are confidential.
The Sky Trail Attraction was closed after the accident, but reopened a few weeks later.
