SATELLITE BEACH, Fla. – Satellite Beach police are investigating the discovery of a man's body along the beach.
The unidentified body was found Monday behind the Sun on the Beach restaurant off of State Road A1A.

Police said the death is being treated as a suicide. It was not immediately known how long the remains were on the beach.
The man is a resident of Cape Canaveral, according to Satellite Beach police.
Several patrol cars lined the street and crime scene tape was used to rope off the surrounding area.
The location, which juts up near Shell Street, is the not far from where the body of a woman, later identified as 32-year-old Catherine Looby, was located in February 2015. That case was later ruled as a suicide by the Brevard County Sheriff's Office.
