ORLANDO, Fla. – About 20 people dressed in Halloween costumes ambushed and attacked two men Monday night in Orange County, stabbing one in the head and hitting the other with a hockey stick, sheriff's officials said.
The Halloween night stabbing was reported about 9 p.m. along Harrell Road near Bexhill Boulevard in Orlando, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said a car was heading south when something hit the vehicle. As the driver and his passenger got out to see what had happened, they were confronted by the costume-wearing group, officials said.
The victims were taken to a hospital. The extent of their injuries was not released.
An investigation is continuing.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call authorities.
