A Lake County man was arrested on Monday after police said he assaulted and robbed a disabled man.
Deputies arrived at a Circle K in Pine Lakes to find the victim with cuts, a swollen eye and blood at the scene.
The victim told deputies he was robbed and beat up by Charles Miller, 42. In the arrest report, deputies said Miller has intimidated the victim before.
Police said the victim is disabled and has trouble walking unassisted.
When a Lake County deputy asked Miller about the incident, he became belligerent, denying the assault and robbery.
On his ride to the Lake County Jail, Miller threaten to kill the officer “once he gets out,” according to the report.
Miller is charged with robbery and abuse of a disabled adult. He is held on a $12,000 bond.
The victim was transported to the hospital for his injuries. His current condition is unknown.
