ORLANDO, Fla. – Patients of Florida Hospital for Children and their families were invited to Orlando Sanford International Airport Saturday morning for the "Flight to the North Pole" event.
The children took part in a day full of Christmas festivities, including gifts, music and games.

Santa even joined the kids for a trip to the "North Pole," which was an airplane ride around the airport's tarmac that ended at the "North Pole village" crews set up for the event.
Florida Hospital for Children tweeted Allegiant Air, thanking their crews for their help in making the day so special for the dozens of families.
