ORLANDO, Fla. – A little after 9 p.m. Thursday, a crash involving two vehicles was reported on State Road 417 southbound at Boggy Creek Road, according to a release from the Orlando Police Department.
The crash happened on the overpass over Boggy Creek Road. Two people were transported to area hospitals one had non-life-threatening injuries. The second motorist died as a result of injuries suffered in the crash, the release said.

The Orlando police Traffic Homicide Unit is on scene investigating the cause of the accident. The deceased is an adult male. The process of identifying the deceased and notifying next of kin is ongoing at this time, the release said.
Alcohol is not considered a factor in this accident.
