MIAMI – Children from a Miami elementary school were transported to the hospital after ingesting a substance Friday morning, WPLG reports.
A total of six students from Liberty City Elementary School were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital.

All the students were alert and conscious and brought to the hospital out of precaution.
A Miami-Dade Public Schools spokesperson said a male student shared his own prescription medication with other students.
