'Growing Pains' star Alan Thicke dies at 69 of heart attack, reports say

Actor was playing hockey with son

(WKMG) – Actor Alan Thicke has died at the age of 69, TMZ reports.

The actor was playing hockey with his son Carter Thicke, 19, when he suffered a heart attack. He later died at Providence St. Joseph's Medical Center.

Thicke, who was known for his role as Jason Seaver on the sitcom "Growing Pains," has three sons: Robin, Brennan and Carter. He is also survived by his wife, Tanya.
