Warm temperatures will dominate the first day of the new year.  Expect many places to reach 80 degrees Sunday.

Humidity has started to return on a southeast wind.

"Overnight lows will be cool, but not uncomfortable, as temperatures drop into the 60s," News 6 meteorologist Danny Treanor said.

There could be some patchy morning fog again Monday.

Late Monday and into early Tuesday, a 40 percent chance of rain is in the forecast.

The remainder of the week will be sunny and mild with temperatures above normal.
