ORLANDO, Fla. – A hotel in the heart of Orlando's tourist district was evacuated early Monday because of a fire.
The fire was reported around 1:30 a.m. at the Stay Sky Suites on Canada Avenue near International Drive.
Dozens of guests were forced from their rooms for more than an hour after a fire broke out in the computer room of the hotel, officials said.
The fire was extinguished, and guests were later allowed to re-enter their rooms.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
News 6 has reached out to Stay Sky Suites for comment but has not heard back.
