Stolen French bulldog back home

Stewart safe and sound after being taken from Orlando home

ORLANDO, Fla. – A French bulldog puppy that was stolen from a woman's home on Christmas Eve has been found.

Teresa Luse said someone kicked in the door of her home and took Stewart, but didn't steal anything else.

She told News 6 that Stewart is now back home and is safe and sound. Details about the dog's recovery, however, are not known.

Luse said she got Stewart a few months after her father passed away.

"He just brought so much joy to me and anybody that got in touch with the dog or me could see how well I was doing, coping with the grief of my dad," Luse said.

Luse said someone also broke into her home before the theft of her dog.

"I'm afraid I am going to get hit here again. Somebody's going to come in next time. It could be me. I'm scared here," Luse said.
