Orlando City Soccer Club releases 2017 schedule

This will be first season in team's new stadium

ORLANDO, Fla. – Mark your calendars, Lions fans: Orlando City Soccer Club has released their 2017 regular season schedule.

The Lions will open their first season in the club's brand new stadium on March 5 against the New York City Football Club at 5 p.m. ET.  The game will be televised on ESPN and ESPN Deportes.

The soccer club will have other notable home matches in their third professional season, including an April 15 match against five-time MLS Cup champion L.A. Galaxy and a Sept. 30 match against U.S. Open Cup champion Football Club Dallas.

Fourteen of the Lions' matches will be nationally televised.

This season marks the first full season with head coach Jason Kreis, after he took over for Adrian Heath mid-season on July 6. 

Orlando City Soccer Club is offering several ticket deals for LionNation members via e-mail. Tickets to the general public will go on sale Feb. 21.
