Man hides during Orlando home invasion

Cash stolen from home, police say


ORLANDO, Fla. – A man hid during a Sunday night home invasion robbery in Orlando, according to police.

The robbery was reported at 8:13 p.m. in the 4000 block of Versailles Drive.

According to Orlando police, a gunman knocked on the door of the home, and the man inside the home locked himself in a bedroom after looking through the peephole.

The intruder kicked in the door and took money that was on a table, police said.

The gunman fled the home and has not been found, police said.

No injuries were reported.
