ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando police on Friday identified a man found dead inside a condo near the Mall at Millenia.
Police said Luis A. Maldonado Jr., 44, was found dead Wednesday night inside a home at the Millennia Park Condos off Luge Lane in Orlando.
"The victim appears he was targeted, and this was not a random act of violence," Orlando police said.
No other details have been released.
Condo residents said they are concerned.
"It's a little disturbing. I live here with my three boys and wife, so it's kind of scary," said Jose Duchesne, who lives across the street.
Duchesne said the neighborhood is normally pretty quiet.
"We usually make a right to get into our driveway and it was blocked off with police cars and a CSI van," he said. "It was a quite a scene last night."
Management for the complex has not said anything about the case.
"They haven't passed out any notices as of yet," Duchesne said. "I mean, it just happened (Wednesday) night, so maybe they're working on something. Hopefully they say something."
