BUSHNELL, Fla. – Officials are investigating the cause of a three-story building fire that happened in Bushnell early Saturday morning.
Sumter County Fire and Emergency Medical Service units responded to the fire on the 100 block of Bushnell Plaza around 2:30 a.m.
Upon their arrival, units said the building was attached to a storage building, and that the first floor was was on fire. Crews searched the building for victims and spots of hidden fire.
Fire Rescue said they were able to quickly get the fire under control, containing it to the attached exterior storage building. Crews said the building suffered minimal loss.
