Detectives investigate suspicious death, Marion County deputies say

Terry Hall found lying injured in westbound lanes of Highway 484, deputies say

MARION COUNTY, Fla. – The Marion County Sheriff's Office said detectives are investigating a suspicious death that happened along Highway 484.

Deputies responded to a call at 5:20 a.m. Saturday for a suspicious incident on Highway 484 near the intersection of Southwest Eighth Court.

The Sheriff's Office said deputies found Terry Hall, 58, lying injured in the westbound lanes of Highway 484.

Paramedics took Hall to a hospital in Ocala, where he was pronounced dead, deputies said. Detectives have not released details about his death.

The Sheriff's Office said portions of westbound Highway 484 were temporarily closed Saturday morning, but have since been reopened.
