Metallica WorldWired Tour to make stop in Orlando

Concert will be held at Camping World Stadium

ORLANDO, Fla. – Metallica is off to never never land. Well, not quite, but they are heading to Orlando.

The iconic rock band announced the dates of their 2017 WorldWired Tour Monday morning. The 25-date tour is the band's first in eight years, according to Rolling Stone

Their tour will be made up of both stadiums and areas, coming to Camping World Stadium on July 5. 

The North American leg will kick off in Baltimore in early May, and end in Edmonton in late August.

Metallica has taken home nine Grammys, including six for Best Metal Performance. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009.

Tickets for the WorldWired tour will go on sale Feb. 17. Legacy Fan Club members will have an opportunity to buy tickets Feb. 14.
