COCOA, Fla. – Cocoa police said a missing 7-year-old girl who walked away from home Monday has been found safe.
The girl was reported missing about noon at a residence near the intersection of Mitchell Street and Kentucky Avenue in Cocoa. She was found about an hour later.

The Brevard County sheriff's helicopter and police dogs were used in the search.
