SANFORD, Fla. – Testimony is set to begin Tuesday in the trial of a man accused of killing a high school student.
Investigators say Dorian Calloway, 47, used an AK-47 to shoot into an SUV during a gang dispute in Sanford in 2012.
Pernecia Jones, 18, was killed in the gunfire. Prosecutors say she was in the SUV but was not the intended target.
Calloway is facing over a dozen charges.
The trial is expected to last into next week.
