80-year-old Brevard man's death ruled homicide

Grady Wright found dead in his home

SCOTTSMOOR, Fla. – On Feb. 17, 80-year-old Grady Wright was found dead in his Scottsmoor home. After an autopsy conducted by the Brevard County Medical Examiner's Office, his death was ruled a homicide.

Investigators are currently in the process of examining physical evidence and interviewing anyone with possible knowledge of the case, News 6 partner Florida Today reported. So far, agents have determined Wright's death to be an isolated incident, according to reports from the Brevard County Sheriff's Office.

No other information was immediately available to the public, according to Cpl. Dave Jacobs, BCSO spokesperson. Jacobs said that the sheriff's office could not release any information about the cause of death or possible suspects.
