2 teens shot near Central Florida Fairgrounds

Both boys shot after leaving county fair, deputies say

ORLANDO, Fla. – Two teenage boys were shot Saturday night near the Central Florida Fairgrounds, Orange County deputies said.

Deputies responded to a Chevron gas station on West Colonial Drive at 10:45 p.m. in reference to a shooting, the Sheriff's Office said.

Orange County deputies said both 16-year-old boys had just left the county fair before they were shot. 

Four unknown people believed to be connected with the shooting fled the scene, deputies said.

Both victims were transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, the Sheriff's  Office said.

No other details were available.
