ORLANDO, Fla. – A driver died after crashing into a power pole Saturday afternoon, Orlando police said.
Police responded to the single-car crash at Rio Grande Avenue and LB McLeod Road at 4:45 p.m.

Police said the vehicle was headed north on Rio Grande Avenue, approaching LB McLeod Road, when it went off the road and crashed into a power pole.
The driver was pronounced dead, police said. There were no other occupants in the car.
Police said northbound Rio Grande Avenue was being diverted at 33rd Street, but all other lanes were open.
