TAVARES, Fla. – A 12-year-old boy is facing charges after deputies say he attacked another boy at a school bus stop in Lake County.
According to deputies, the victim had just gotten off a bus when he was attacked by the other student, who jumped on top of him and started to hit him near Tavares Middle School.

According to the arrest report, the victim's father took the boy to the hospital to be treated.
The 12-year-old boy was arrested on a charge of aggravated battery.
