PALM COAST, Fla. – A 16-year-old girl reported missing by her family after she didn't return home from Matanzas High School on Monday was found safe Wednesday evening in Palm Coast, according to the Flagler County Sheriff's Office.
Just after 6 p.m. Wednesday, Elizabeth Higgens was spotted on Brookside Lane by someone who recognized her from a photo that was sent out when she disappeared, deputies said.
