ORLANDO, Fla. – The body of a man who failed to resurface after jumping off a tube into Lake Ivanhoe was found Saturday night, authorities said.
Orlando police said Jason Seifer, 36, drowned in the incident, which was reported around 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the Lake Ivanhoe boat ramp.
Police said Seifer was tubing with friends and jumped off the tube about 150 feet from the ramp as they were pulling into the dock. Seifer did not resurface.
The Orlando Fire Department and its dive team and the Orange County Dive Team conducted a search and found Seifer's body in about 20 feet of water.
No other details have been released.
