ORLANDO, Fla. – A man crossing the street in the area of Conroy and Kirkman roads was hit and killed by a car Monday night in Orlando, police said.
The driver of the car is cooperating with the investigation by the Orlando Police Department, officers said.

The crash happened just after 8:50 p.m., on the northbound side of Kirkman Road, just north of Conroy, police said.
The victim died after he was rushed to a nearby hospital.
At last check, the northbound lanes of Kirkman Road were shut down as investigators looked into the wreck.
It appears the victim was a Hispanic man in his 40s, but police didn’t release any other identifying details.
