Kissimmee man charged with attempted murder, police say

Police issue warrant for arrest of Errick Holmes Jr.

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – UPDATE: The suspect has been located and is in custody.

EARLIER:

Kissimmee police have obtained an arrest warrant for a man who they say shot another man Tuesday night.

Police said Errick Holmes Jr. shot the victim at 1804 Bay St. after the two argued. The victim was injured but is expected to be OK.

Police sought an arrest warrant for Holmes for attempted murder, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Holmes was already wanted for possession of narcotics and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in connection with an April 20 incident.
