WINTER GARDEN, Fla. – Engineers are keeping a close eye on a sinkhole that opened near several homes Tuesday in Winter Garden.
Officials said the sinkhole opened in the Orchard Hills subdivision on Cypress Hill Road.

Engineers said the hole grew to 23 feet wide and 12 feet deep before crews filled it with dirt. It could keep growing, however, officials said.
Officials said nearby homes are currently not in danger.
