FHP: Live power lines shut down road after crash
EUSTIS, Fla. – A driver is dead after he struck a pole in Eustis early Sunday morning, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Troopers said Tyler Marshall, 25, was driving east on County Road 44A at 4:10 a.m. when he drove off the road and onto State Road 44. The left side of Marshall's truck struck a power pole, the Highway Patrol said.
The road was shut down following the crash because of live power lines across the roadway, troopers said.
Troopers said the crash remains under investigation.
