Phillips is wanted on charges of burglary and criminal use of personal ID information in connection with the vehicle owner whose purse he stole while attending the funeral at Deltona Memorial Gardens, deputies said.

Deputies said they were able to recover the victim's concealed weapons permit and lift a fingerprint that determined the suspect was Phillips.

This car was not the only one he broke into that day, deputies believe he is also connected to another car break-in that was within minutes of this one.

Deputies say Phillips is from the Fort Lauderdale area, but his current whereabouts are not known.

Deputies urge that if you have any information on Phillips to please contact 888-277-TIPS. They add that you will remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward of $5,000.
