Orlando United Day transportation: Parking near Pulse; free Uber rides

Uber rides up to $15 free, event parking information

ORLANDO, Fla. – Uber will offer free rides of up to $15 to and from Lake Eola Park and to the Pulse Nightclub site Monday night during Orlando United Day.

The free rides up to $15 can be accessed using the promo code "UnitedDay" from 5 p.m. Monday until 2 a.m. Tuesday.

“It is important for the Uber community to participate in the Orlando United Day,” Kasra Moshkani, general manager of Uber Florida, said in a news release. “We stand with Central Florida to honor the memory of the victims, support survivors and recognize the community's compassion by making it easier for people to attend remembrance gatherings throughout Central Florida.”

The "Orlando Love: Remembering Our Angels"  ceremony will begin at 7 p.m. Monday at Lake Eola Park. 

A "Moments of Hope and Healing" ceremony will begin at 10 p.m. on Monday at the Pulse Nightclub site.

Some Lynx bus routes will be affected by Orlando United Day events. Check golynx.com for a list of service alerts.

SunRail operation

SunRail will add extra service Monday night to accommodate those attending Pulse remembrance events.

In addition to the regularly scheduled trains, SunRail will run extra service out of the Church Street station that will head south at 9:47 p.m. An additional service will also leave the Sand Lake Road station to head north at 10:15 p.m. The southbound train will stop at Orlando Health and Sand Lake Road stations and the northbound train will stop at all stations to the DeBary station, where it will arrive at 11:18 p.m., SunRail officials said. Regular fares will apply.
