BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – Firefighters were working to contain a wildfire in Brevard County Saturday afternoon, fire officials said.
Crews at the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge said the wildfire was burning east of Peacocks Pocket Road around 3:45 p.m.

Fire officials said rain was falling on the fire, which has burned about 75 acres.
The Brevard County Fire Rescue Wildland Mitigation captain was near the fire at the Kennedy Space Center off Beach Road with U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service firefighters, officials said.

Fire officials said the fire was contained at 120 acres around 4:30 p.m.
