At least 5 hurt in Lynx bus crash near Florida Mall, officials say

3 other vehicles involved in crash, fire rescue says

ORLANDO, Fla. – At least five people were injured in a crash involving a Lynx bus and three other vehicles in Orlando Saturday afternoon, Orange County Fire Rescue officials said.

Fire Rescue officials said the crash took place about 3:48 p.m. at the intersection of Orange Blossom Trail and Landstreet Road.

The Florida Highway Patrol said the Lynx bus rear-ended another vehicle and started a chain reaction.

Officials said three people were taken to Health Central Hospital and two others were taken to Dr. Phillips Hospital.

At least four other people were involved in the crash, but were not transported to nearby hospitals, Fire Rescue officials said.

Troopers said Sunday morning the victims' injuries were minor and all victims had been released from the hospitals.
