Titusville man accused of sexually battering missing 14-year-old

Terell Voshun Akeem Brandon picked up victim in South Florida, police say

TITUSVILLE, Fla. – A 23-year-old Titusville man was arrested on allegations of sexually battering a missing 14-year-old, police said.

Terell Voshun Akeem Brandon was arrested on charges of lewd and lascivious battery on a child over 12 years old and possession of child pornography.

Titusville police said detectives were alerted Tuesday night by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Broward County Sheriff’s Office to a suspected case of molestation involving a missing child.

Police said Brandon was found at his home with the teen, who was placed in protective custody.

Officials said a preliminary investigation revealed that Brandon and the teen had inappropriate communication via the internet. Police said Brandon drove to Deerfield Beach, picked up the teen and they returned to Titusville, where the teen was sexually battered.

Details about when the teen was reported missing were not released by authorities.

Brandon was booked into the Brevard County Jail, where he is being held on a $55,000 bond.
