Crews battle big rig fire on I-75 in Marion County

Northbound traffic shut down as crews battle flames


MARION COUNTY, Fla. – Marion County firefighters were working to put out a commercial truck fire Friday afternoon, Fire Rescue officials said.

Crews said just after 3:30 p.m. that they were battling the big rig fire at mile marker 365 along I-75 north.


The fire caused northbound traffic to be shut down as crews worked to contain it, Fire Rescue officials said.
