Red, Hot & Boom to return sparkle in Altamonte Springs

150,000 people expected to watch annual fireworks show

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – Tuesday marks Independence Day, but one of Central Florida's largest fireworks shows will be lighting up the skies one day early.

Red, Hot & Boom is expected to draw 150,000 people to Cranes Roost Park in Altamonte Springs. The 22nd annual festival kicks off at 4 p.m. with a concert. The fireworks show starts at 9:30 p.m.

That's not the only big fireworks show celebrating America's birthday. News 6 is hosting Fireworks at the Fountain on July 4 at Lake Eola Park.
