Airport officials said Terminal B was evacuated to Terminal A after a screener found the grenade, which law enforcement said was hollow, but had been a live grenade at one point.

Officials said the grenade belonged to a young boy who was traveling with his family to Mississippi. The boy got the grenade from his cousin, and his parents were unaware that he had it, according to airport personnel.

Operations returned to normal shortly after and no flights were delayed, officials said. No one faced charges following the incident.
